Creative Beginnings
Eva Eklöf was born in Stockholm, Sweden and grew up in a 60’s house by the Baltic sea. Her family has a strong creative tradition, especially linked to Modernism, most notably through Sven Eklöf, a pioneering Swedish architect who helped shape the Midcentury Swedish aesthetic. From an early age she was therefore exposed to concepts of minimalism and refinement in form and material, which remain at the heart of her creative work.
Eva is a graduate from Parsons School of Design and has lived in France, Spain, Sweden, the UK and the United States. After having worked with luxury interiors in New York, she worked with a large retailer in Spain and managed the brand’s product design department for five years, before pursuing her dream of creating designs under her own brand.
She is currently based in New York City.
