CARE

With proper care, your Les Few pieces will last for generations and age with elegance.

Our brass objects are available in polished or brushed finishes. They are not lacquered and do not undergo chemical treatments. These living finishes will naturally develop a patina over time. You can allow them to age and darken beautifully, or maintain their original finish with regular polishing.

Polished Brass Care

  • Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth.

  • Apply a small amount of Glanol or another non-abrasive polishing cream to a clean cloth.

  • Polish carefully in the same direction until the cream and any stains are gone and the surface regains its shine.

  • For stubborn stains, let the cream sit briefly before polishing.

  • Do not use water.

  • Once finished, wipe the entire piece again with a soft, dry cloth.

Brushed Brass Care

  • Avoid using polishing creams with abrasives, as they can make the surface shiny.

  • Wipe with a damp cloth and rinse in lukewarm water.

  • Apply a small amount of Bistro cleaner to a soft sponge or cloth.

  • Rub gently until stains are removed.

  • Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and dry completely and quickly with a soft cotton cloth.

Additional advice

The natural patina that forms on brass helps protect the material and enhances its character. On the interiors of vases or candlesticks, this patina is both functional and desirable and should not be removed.
